## Civil Aviation Act — Remote Unmanned Aircraft Chapter
### Scope
Under Article 99-2, all remotely piloted aircraft owned by natural or legal persons must be registered.
### Registration Requirements
- **Above 250g**: Must register with the CAA and obtain a registration number
- **Above 1kg or equipped with camera**: Must have liability insurance
- Registration is valid for 2 years
### Operator Certificates

### Flight Restrictions
- Maximum altitude: **400 feet (~122 meters)**
- No-fly zones: Airports, military facilities
- Night flying: Permit required
- Crowded areas: Prohibited
### Penalties
Violations may result in fines of **NT$ 30,000 to 1,500,000**.
